Mental Skills Educator · Choreographer · Studio Culture Coach

Why This Work Matters to Me

I’ve lived every role inside the dance community: student, choreographer, teacher, adjudicator — and I’ve seen what happens when performance is valued more than people. I’ve also seen the magic that’s possible when we train the whole dancer — mind, body, and artistry.

After years of studio teaching, I pursued my Master’s in Coaching Studies and certifications in mental performance, leadership, and communication — to answer one big question:

What actually helps dancers thrive — not just win?

Now I spend my days helping studios reimagine how we train, lead, and support the humans behind the movement.

I help competitive dancers, teachers, and parents build the mental strength, leadership skills, and emotional resilience needed to thrive in high-performance environments.

Whether it’s a dancer learning to manage nerves, a teacher reigniting their passion, or a parent learning how to support instead of pressure — I’m here to help studios grow from the inside out.

WHAT I DO

I offer in-studio and online sessions for dancers, educators, and parents, focusing on:

  • Mental performance skills: confidence, motivation, stress management, focus

  • Studio leadership and classroom culture

  • Parent education and high-performance support

  • Weekend intensives for full team alignment and transformation

I’ve facilitated 750+ workshops across North America and been featured by the Dance Teacher Summit, Toronto Dance Teacher Expo, Women in Sport Speaker Series, Dance Studio Owners Association, DancePlug, Harbour Dance Centre, and more.

I also host The Dance Podcast — where I interview artists, educators, and experts about what it really takes to succeed in this industry.

WHAT I BELIEVE

Dancers don’t just need training, they need tools.

Educators deserve support, not just expectations.

Parents are part of the team, and when they’re empowered, everyone wins.

Real success isn’t measured in medals, but in growth, resilience, and character.
