This session helps parents better understand the emotional and psychological demands of competitive dance and how to support their dancer through challenges like pressure, disappointment, and motivation. Parents will leave with practical tools and language to build confidence, resilience, and a healthy relationship with performance.

Workshop Details

  • Format: Live online workshop via Zoom. Can't join us live? No problem!

  • Recording: A private recording will be available to registered participants for 7 days following the event.

  • Length: 60 minutes

  • Who it’s for: For parents of competitive dancers who want to better support their child’s confidence, motivation, and well being in high pressure training and performance environments.

  • Participation: One family per Zoom screen/registration. Camera on is encouraged! If you are interested in having a group zoom in, please email lauren@withlauren.ca

  • What to bring: A notebook, pen, water, and a quiet space to focus.
